Thousands of people from all over the world have learned languages at Alpha Aktiv. The Alpha Aktiv team and faculty are happy about the exciting meetings with so many different people. Every single employee at our school considers it a challenge to give a new and fresh beginning for learning a language. Our classes are composed in an interactive and communicative way, which makes one familiar with the language from the very first lesson hour. The innovative Alpha Aktiv teaching method comprises modern learning materials with a wide range of themes and texts pulled from newspapers and magazines. In a classroom context we support and challenge our students by means of our attentive assistance in small learning groups.

An der Universität Koblenz-Landau habe ich ein Anglistikstudium (MA) absolviert und zudem ein Aufbaustudium Deutsch als Fremdsprache. Zuvor habe ich ein Austauschjahr in Oxford/England verbracht. In diesen Jahren konnte ich viele Kontakte zu Menschen aus aller Welt knüpfen, was mir sehr viel Freude bereitet hat. Deshalb freue ich mich ganz besonders über das internationale Flair bei Alpha Aktiv.

Our school ”Alpha Aktiv” is located right in the centre of Heidelberg in the heart of the old town. Stores, the University of Heidelberg and many restaurants are just arond the corner. You can get to these places on foot or by means of the transportation system of the city of Heidelberg.

The Start and End Dates of the Courses
Our main objective is to help students develop their own learning strategies which assist them in acquiring speaking skills in German. Our teaching priority lies in learning how to listen and understand the spoken presentation, and how to be able to express ones ideas with good and correct pronunciation.
