Learning Russian Culture and the Russian Language Through Play
Many children of Russian parents who grow up in Germany have gaps in their knowledge of the Russian language and the Russian alphabet, since Russian is usually spoken only at home and there is little time to teach the children Russian.
Our innovative Russian language classes, based on educational concepts developed by Glenn Doman, Nikolai Sajzev, Cecil Lupan, Maria Montessori, Boris Nikitin, and others, enable your children to explore the Russian language and culture through play.
All of our instructors have completed a degree in education and/or received pedagogical training and have extensive experience working with children.
In class, children are introduced to the Russian language in a way that is fun for them through learning Russian children’s songs, fairy tales, games, and poems. This playful approach leads to more effective learning and fosters a positive connection to their parents’ Russian culture. The teaching materials are drawn from the most well-known folk traditions and the works of modern and classical authors.
Classes are held in small groups and are tailored to your child’s age.
