The required qualification for university admission depends on your home country and your educational background. Not all foreign high school diplomas are directly recognized as qualifications for university admission in Germany. In some cases, you’ll need to attend a Studienkolleg and then take an assessment exam. Our educational counseling team will analyze your individual situation and show you the best path to studying in Germany.
To study at a German university or university of applied sciences, you generally need German language proficiency at the C1 level, demonstrated by a recognized exam such as TestDaF (with a score of at least 4×4), DSH (Level 2 or 3), or telc C1 Hochschule. For English-language degree programs, no German language skills—or only basic ones—are usually required; instead, you’ll need to provide proof of English proficiency, such as TOEFL or IELTS. Our programs specifically prepare you for the required language exams and seamlessly integrate this preparation into your overall educational journey.
Choosing the right degree program and the right university is crucial to your academic success. With over 400 universities and thousands of degree programs, Germany offers a wide variety of options, which makes the decision difficult. We’ll support you in making this important decision by: 1) conducting a detailed analysis of your interests, strengths, and career goals; 2) providing information on course content, requirements, and career prospects in various fields of study; 3) advice on university profiles, locations, and admission requirements, and 4) consideration of practical factors such as cost of living and housing options. This will help you find the degree program that’s the best fit for you and best supports your career goals.
