German Course C1: Your Key to Studying in Germany
In our C1 German course, you’ll develop advanced language skills that go far beyond everyday communication. You’ll learn to understand challenging and longer texts and to grasp their implied meanings. One particular strength you’ll develop is the ability to express yourself spontaneously and fluently without having to search for words.
Here's what you'll learn in the C1 German course:
A central element of the course is the effective and flexible use of the German language in social, professional, and academic contexts. You will be able to express yourself clearly, coherently, and in detail on complex topics and master various techniques for linking text elements. Special emphasis is placed on writing academic papers so that you can express yourself at an academic level.
Schedule for C1 Courses
The C1 course lasts a total of 9 weeks and consists of C1.1 (4 weeks) and C1.2 (5 weeks). Classes are held Monday through Friday, either in the morning from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. or in the afternoon from 12:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Please note that in addition to the 20 class sessions, you should also plan for about 15 additional hours per week for independent study. This time is needed for homework, learning new vocabulary, and preparing presentations to ensure you get the most out of the course.
