Training for Dentists
Our C1-level training program for dentists is designed for foreign dentists who wish to practice here in Germany.
The course focuses on typical oral communication situations between dentists and patients in the dental office, as well as specialized terminology. In addition, subject-specific articles are discussed and practiced through various simulations. To participate in this course, you must already have an intermediate level of German (B2). If you have not yet reached the B2 level, you are welcome to book a preparatory course with us beforehand. The course lasts a total of 10 weeks and comprises 200 45-minute class sessions.
“I would like to outline my journey so far in learning the German language as well as my professional training in dentistry.
I began my German language course at the Alpha Aktiv Academy in Heidelberg with no prior knowledge of the language and completed the program from A1 to B2. During this time, I was able to continuously build and consolidate my language skills.
The classes helped me gradually develop my written and oral communication skills. Following that, I took a three-month preparatory course for the dental terminology exam (C1). This course served as an introduction to technical terminology and enabled me to familiarize myself with basic dental terms as well as typical communication situations in a professional context. After completing this course, I successfully passed the B2 exam, thereby officially certifying my language proficiency. Throughout the entire process, I also received support from Miriam with organizational and administrative matters. In particular, she helped me prepare and submit the required documents to the Regional Council and was there to advise me whenever I had questions. In summary, through my language courses and my initial introduction to dental terminology, I have laid the groundwork for continuing my academic and professional development in Germany.”
