Targeted Preparation for the Medical Knowledge Exam
The knowledge exam poses a major challenge for many international doctors.

During the intensive preparation program, you’ll practice with realistic clinical case studies tailored to the exam requirements. You’ll systematically expand your medical knowledge in accordance with German standards, practice typical exam scenarios, and improve your diagnostic and therapeutic skills. Our experienced instructors—who are practicing specialists themselves—will guide you along the way and use structured methods to optimally prepare you for all aspects of the knowledge exam.

Schedule
Start: Courses begin every four months
Duration: 12 weeks of intensive training with 30 class hours per week

Comprehensive medical knowledge in accordance with German standards
We’ll equip you with the necessary professional knowledge, with a special focus on German guidelines, treatment standards, and current medical developments—presented in a structured way and tailored to exam requirements.
The knowledge exam is generally an oral and practical exam similar to a state exam. It usually consists of two main parts: internal medicine and surgery. Depending on the state, additional specialties such as neurology, psychiatry, or general medicine may be included. The exam typically lasts 60–90 minutes and is administered by a committee consisting of medical specialists and representatives from the state examination boards. Our course specifically prepares you for all possible exam topics and formats.
