Requirements
The following requirements apply for participation in our program:
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Enrollment in a German language course at Alpha Aktiv for at least 12 weeks
- Upon completion of the language course, German language proficiency at least at the B2 level (recognized language certificate)
Non-EU citizens
- A valid visa is required to participate.

The Pathway Training Program combines a targeted German language course with preparation for vocational training in Germany. It is designed for young people from abroad who are looking for hands-on training with good future prospects. A dual vocational training program offers you the opportunity to work at a company and attend vocational school at the same time. You’ll earn your own money right from the start. Whether it’s nursing, skilled trades, hospitality, or technology—we’ll help you find the vocational training program that matches your interests and strengths.
As you build your German language skills, we’ll actively support you in your search for a suitable apprenticeship. In a one-on-one meeting, we’ll first discuss your goals and qualifications. Then we’ll help you write your resume and cover letter and prepare you specifically for job interviews. In class, you’ll also learn the language you’ll actually need on the job and at vocational school. This way, you’ll start your apprenticeship in Germany well-prepared and with confidence.
